woodworking wine rack

this is too expensive for a gift?

The girl I friends, birthday just passed by. I did not know what they can get as her, I did not get anything. She mentioned she liked to drink wine (she is 20), so I hey I'm building a wine rack you thought. I'm pretty good at woodworking. I built it made of solid mahogany and stained it. There looks beautiful, but my sisters and Mom said she would feel uncomfortable if I did her, because we have a past of affection to each other had, and think it could, it's a really sincere devotion. If only it really something that I thought they would use and how it was perfectly logical for me. Shall I tell you? or is it more trouble than it's worth?
