woodworking techniques

woodworking prjocet!?? need ideas by tomorrow ???

I have to make a candy-dispenser in woodshop
i already know how to do the mechanism so that doesnt bother me
i just wonder what shape i could make out of a block of wood
im only in grade 8 so dont excpect me to use any hard techniques
i was wondering if theres any character or object that can be made out of a block of wood
or anything kindof funky looking in a block shape??
please help

make it into the classic bubblegum dispenser shape! big circle on top, pole holding it up with wood on the bottom.

or a nose and make it come out of the nostril! (thats kinda gross lol)
