im new to the car audio world, and i dont have alot of money but i am lopoking to put a system in my truck, now i have the standard cab with no backseats, now i have seen boxes designed to fit in behind the seats and im looking into buying or building one of those, now i have 2 6×9 speakers and im going to buy a 10″ subwoofer and im not sure if i have to buy a certain kind or if there all the same, i was wandering if all speakers will be able to fit in this box, now i am pretty woodworking inclined and i could probably figure something out, bu ti would like to kno before i buy a sub. and one more thing, what are the best 10″ sub woofers, i want alot of kick but not enough to bust my windows, and i dont have much money to spend on one, its my first time doing anything like this im not quite 16 but i already have a vehical and im wanting to know what would be the best wattage and what not, thanks guys and i look forward to the awnsers
If you don’t wanna spend a lot of money go to walmart and buy a Sony xplod 10 and an amp. match up the wattage on each. If you can build a box, great but I would have one professionally built and tuned so it sounds better. Now if your wanting to spend 200 dollars on a sub buy a 10″ alpine type r. U love alpine they make some beast subs. price range tho would be Sony or pioneer. You could built them both in the same box but I wouldnt, I would put the 6×9s up front so you can hear them better. Good luck!

Since you found this site, you must enjoy working with wood. And if you’re like me, you’ve probably spent hundreds of hard-earned dollars on wood plans and projects that turned out to be disappointing (or maybe even disastrous!). Maybe you’ve halted projects in mid-stream because of frustration or from running out of ideas. To read more, please click here:Woodworking4Home
