Fair price for the installation of 4 new plug to 2 new circuits in the basement …?

Hew folks! I live in the north of CT in the event that the following questions. I am setting up a small woodworking shop in half of my around my 30'x50 'basement. I put the tools on the wall opposite the electric field, because it beside the stove, and I want you know that the area saw dust free. I want to get an electrician and 4 or 5 new plugs installed on 2 circuits on a recently upgraded 100 amp electric field. In this way, I would much power for my own tools. They had to physically install the plug, lead the lines 30 or 40 meters, and hook everything upside down. Including the materials, I was quoted $ 1500 and I thought it was kind of high Electrician (type indicated I done it cheaper, but he would like to make the employee). What do you think is a reasonable estimate for this work? Otherwise, do you think it would be a good idea to install the plug and the wires run it but I saw and fed to the electric field of the electrician?

Try everything except make the final hook up in the box but only if you are familiar with codes. Problem is an electrician, ready to finish your work.
