Workbench for woodwork … I built one and I wonder if I could use a bar top epoxy to an end?

Or will they EPOXY STUFF Chip or SCRATCH TOO MUCH? Pardon my ignorance, I thought it would be cool pictures of me as a child BUILDING fabric and my family, nestled in the TOP. If this work for a workbench?

I've never finished my work bench top. I installed a piece of 3 / 4 MFD above. It is smooth and flat. Although it is to get dinged, I am turning it around and use the other side. In the last 14 years I have only used two pieces of MDF. I am currently on the first page of the second piece. A workbench is on for the work, not for're right.
