is there any value to old woodworking tools, like for carpentry or boatbuilding?

my husband brought home a bunch of them from a jobsite and he swears they are worth something…

There are so many old woodworking tools around that they aren’t worth alot. The antique stores back east are crammed with planes, saws hammars, I know my husband buys them! Tell me what you have and I will ask Ray what the prices are! Age might make a difference, but only a small one. Michelle
