how to make a branding iron?

I want to make a branding iron, cost much to buy one. How do I start, what is the best Metal ti use to make the easy to use? I can do basic welding, but do not want. It is a small logo like a money symbol, my initials, SH, font in a script. I use it for small woodworking projects i do. I wish her something i could melt and poor into a wood carving that was the heat take a small flashlight. How to pour or smear it out, burn the wood and iron, presto. Sounds too simple, but I'm sure you must be a cost-relitivly Manner.

So this is how ya torture victims, it is? When bodies start turning with your initials on it, I will one eyebrow ……… and wonder increase why did not I think of first.
